Whitsundays

Today I woke up very early and had a quick
breakfast on the farm. After that we left on the coach. We stopped
for lunch, then headed off again. We stopped at the Tropic of
Capricorn, the lower edge of the tropics, in Rockhampton, then
were off again. We saw “Finding Nemo” on the bus as
we traveled to the Whitsunday Islands. When we got there, we met
with O.U.C.H.,
Order of Underwater Coral Heroes, to talk about the reef.
We got to Long Island (not New York) on FantaSea Blue ferries.
In Long Island we had dinner then went to bed. I slept in a room
with Vinny, Derek & Harrison. |

In the morning I woke up with my roommates, then
went to breakfast. After breakfast we got on the cruise ship. When
we got to the great barrier reef we had lunch. After lunch we we
went on the under water viewer one a boat, and the other a submerged
glass pillar. Once that was done, we went snorkeling. While I was
out there I saw turtles, clownfish, damselfish, a grouper, Murray
the giant two-headed moray wrasse, butterfly fish and of course
coral. The coral isn’t as colorful as they are in cartoons,
but the fish are. They were green, blue, yellow, silver and every
color you can think of. Then we went back on Fantasea where Logan
and Hudson both got really seasick and barfed.
