Sarah and Auntie Jill were great friends reading books and sharing toys. |
The kids found a great new way to make lots of noise. They played Dad's childhood Piano and the banging brought the noise level in the house to an all-time high. Dad couldn't turn down the volume on this baby-grand like he can on his keyboard at home. |
Sam found Grammy's Computer as soon as we arrived and found an attentive audience while playing Fatty-Bear, Putt-Putt, BusyTown, and the Pickle Games. |
It was a very hot and humid day at Old Bethpage Village, but everyone still had a good time seeing period craftsmen and shops from the early 1800s. There was a lot of walking around and Sammy and Grammy were walking partners all day. |
Sarah also made many friends at the Village including this girl with whom Sarah wanted to share her "Water bottle" |
Uncle Jonathan decided to help the struggling (and noisy) musicians improve their skills by teaching them a few of his "Jammin'" skills. |
Uncle Jonathan also gave mini-golf lessons and showed off the skills learned over many years on the links. |
No stop along our big trip would be complete without the essential stop at a playground. Here we see Sarah "Hangin'-out" at the playground on the grounds of the elementary school her dad went to (many years ago...) |
