We stopped at the Living History Farms pioneer village outside of Des Moines, Iowa and Sarah enjoyed dressing up at the shop where they sold dresses and hats. She liked the flowery bonnets and had to try every one of them on.

Once the rain ended (and thunder and lightning - the first we've seen on this trip), we started exploring the outdoors at the historic village. At least Sarah found time to smell the flowers....

By the time we got to the campground, the only thing left to do to make the day complete was to hit the playground. This playground had a double swing which they liked, since I could push them together.
