Journal entries from Mooloolaba
July 23 2005 |
Today, I woke up and finished packing and
went down to breakfast. There I had bacon, eggs, and toast. I
was partners with Carlee Walker. After breakfast we flew to Brisbane.
There I went to lunch at the Oriental Dragon. After that, we went
to Underwater World. We saw some really cool fish like a sawfish
and a thing that looked like a half-fish half-newt. Underwater
World is in a town called Mooloolaba.

This morning I went down to the restaurant of the hotel and
had breakfast. I had toast, cereal, eggs, bacon and hash browns.
Then I got on the tour bus, they call it a coach. On the coach,
I sat next to Logan. When we got to the Australia
Zoo, it was Bindi's birthday. We went straight to the Crocoseum.
There, we saw snakes, birds, tigers, Shrek (?!), Steve Erwin (crikey!),
and of course, a crocodile. Then, for lunch, I had a ham sandwich.
Then, in the rest of the zoo, I got a picture with a koala, saw
kangaroos, wallabies, and crocodiles (Steve calls them crocodillians),
and bought some souvenirs. Then we drove back to the hotel and I
went to the game room. I played a game of pool with Nathan, then
went to dinner. At dinner, I sat next to Joe, the bus driver, and
Steven Taft. I had chicken for dinner. After dinner and in the room,
Shelby had chlorine in his eye and needed eye treatment that he
didn't want so Steven was chasing him around with it. |
