Sam and Sarah got so wrapped up in the excitement of the Gettysburg Battlefield, that they enlisted in the Union army !!! |
One of the most impressive monuments at the battlefield was the tower built on top of the Little Round Top hill. It was built in memory of the New York regiment which defended the hill for the Union army. From the top of the monument you have a great view of the valley below where the Confederates charged the hill. |
