Day 66

We drove west through clearing skies, passing through the remainder of Banff National Park before crossing the Continental Divide. Our first stop for the day was a Natural Bridge cut through sheer rock by a mountain torrent in Yoho National Park.

Back on the road,we crossed Glacier National Park, stopping in Roger's Pass, the final segment of the Canadian Pacific Railroad and the Trans-Canada to be built. (This monument dedicated the TransCanada Highway and it had a map of Canada below it. The two little bodies lying on the left side of the map are the goofy kids pretending to swim in the ocean.)

After a short respite we were back driving, this time through Mount Revelstoke National Park and on to Kamloops where we camped at the Kamloops Water Park. We had time for a trip to the Kid's pool for a swim before dinner and sleep.
