Day 63
Trekking up from the badlands we once again ventured into Calgary, this time through the heart of the city to Heritage Park, a turn of the century village. |

Aside from the craft and townspeople we have typically encountered, we were treated to a country fair, complete with rides, an excursion on a steam powered stern-wheeler (riverboat), a trip on a steam locomotive, and a tour on a horse drawn wagon, compliments of Rocky and Jake (the horses). |
In between we found time to have lunch at the Wainwright Hotel and Ice Cream floats at the local soda fountain. Needless to say, it made for a full day of excitement for the kids. |

After a quick stop at Costco to load up on Coffee Crisps to bring home, we turned in to our campground for a round of mini-golf before a late supper and off to bed. |
