Day 58
A few minutes north of our campground, we entered Riding Mountain National Park. Our first stop inside was the Anishinabe Village, where Julie, our guide, took us through the cultural center showing us their work areas, living spaces (tipis) and craft workshops. |

After joining them for a refreshing drink and rest stop, we traveled up the Lake Audy Road to the Bison exhibit. |
We were only able to spot a lone bison in the distance, but were surprised by the appearance of a black bear with three cubs practically under our feet. Of course, the kids exhuberant response to seeing them assured that the bears moved along pretty quickly. |

So we opted to head back to the visitors center for lunch and some shopping before returning to our campground for the night. |
