Sam and I woke early for a walk on the dock to watch the birds before we got ready for our days travel. A short journey through Kenora and we were on to the province of Manitoba. |

The prairie province, true to it's name, made Nebraska look practically mountainous. The skyscrapers of Winnipeg were visible for many miles before we reached the city, which proved fortuitious, since we came upon "TinkerTown" - a kids sized amusement park. |
This park was just down the road our campground, so we never made it into the city. |

Given free-reign, the kids chose Merry-Go-Round rides, train rides, and little car rides, until exhaustion and impending thunderstorms brought us to our campground for the night. |
